i blame sex and the city

whats up with all the bullshit games people play these days? why not some good old fashioned honesty and alcohol-induced mistakes?
i'll tell you why. bullshit like sex and the city, which instilled false ideals in people's minds. it reduced everything females should do to a few stock actions and reactions.
lets go back to hippie times where people were honest or didnt care (were too stoned) to play bullshit.
you want a casual sex relationship? say so
you looking to get into a pre-marital relationship that will lead to marriage? say so (so i can run the other way)
you want to hang out every now and then and hook up drunk sometimes? say so
you want to "date" each other but be open to dating other people? this is a terrible idea, but say so

you get the point. cut the foreplay. for once try a small dose of truth...in the long run, it'll pay off, and everyone will be better off

you make an interesting point. but, isnt every "relationship" a casual sex one? (I know on our end it is) it just so happens that on occassion casual sex relationships [and confusion] DO lead to marriage. and isn't it also true that every relationship is just about hanging out every now and then and hooking up drunk?
i always thought the whole "dating" thing was just a label that made women feel better about being sluts. if that's true [and i have no reason to believe that its not] naturally they want to date you as well as be open to dating others. which just means they wanna live the dream-- get on anyone you want. no guilt.
...which is also the reason for the drunk hookup-- when there's no memory, there's no guilt
does any of this make sense?
