something "serious" for once

well its nice to see so many people respond to the post about submitting your own thoughts/work...we'll be sorting through those and seeing if there are any worth posting ;)

but in the meantime, here's something thought-provoking that crossed my mind while i was in the shower...

as the world continues to gain in population and "overpopulation" becomes a concern, i dont think we're gonna be able to rely on another holocaust to thin the herds out, nor do i foresee any plagues forthcoming

that leaves us with two "options" if thats what you wanna call them
1. terrorist attacks
2. the sketchy united states of awesome doing something totally cool that you dont even know about

#2 is why im writing...
what do you think the chances are of the US deciding that there are just too damn many people in china or india and planting some disease(s) there like we did with AIDS in africa? i mean, look at africa -- where would that continent be without AIDS? they'd all be humping a lot more, and there'd be a lot more of them breathing our air

so, plant some strand of whatever in their drinking water? send some bees over with that virus we developed in the lab? you see where im going...i just wonder how likely something like this is to happen (again)

thoughts? feelings?

I see, from your post, once again the blog is tackling the "real" issues of our day. It gets so tedious and stale to constantly post about our own experiences in an attempt to somehow gloat and raise ourselves up above everyone else. Doesn't it? I dunno -- maybe not...

As an aside -- I think you're forgetting about option #3: my old roomate taking a machete and sweeping out the ghettos. that's an important alternative...

I also don't foresee any(more) plagues forthcoming. (wait, what kind of plagues? Like gay people? Hip-hop? Christianity? Marriage?) So something needs to be done...

But, I'm actually not sure the US of A is gonna have to get [directly] involved. I think "God" is taking care of it for us-- One could argue that indirectly it's still the United States getting into the mix, since God is 'on our side' (how do I know? Dubba-ya said so...)

Case in point;
"God" must have been the one that planted the Kuran into the minds of the unintel.... unsuspecting middle easterners, right? (should I expect hostile action from the "peaceful, forgiving, passive" muslims over this?) Only the 'all knowing' could have the foresight to create such a sound plan to dismantle a "civilization" (I use that term very, VERY, loosely...) so cleverly. See, He knew that these people couldn't possibly find a peaceful way to coexist with.. ANYONE else -- and thus, they would wage a senseless Jihad (read: pointless war based on fantasy) and contribute to the frivolous deaths of millions. (Chiefly, their own middle eastern brethren.)
It's genius, really. "Middle Eastern population in check... Done."
I only bring them up (because I love to mock, jeer, and generally scoff at insanity) because I think whatever it is they're doing *over there* will greatly help our over-population concern.

I think communism will take care of our slanty-eyed peeps. But again, I would submit to you that this is the work of "God". How else could you explain an entire culture of [semi]sentient beings that truly believe in a system that fails (yes, it's fatally flawed you morons) without the 'influence' of a supreme being fucking with their heads? Thanks again, all mighty...

Am I missing anyone? Have I missed the point entirely? Oh well...
