"your" shallow

i'd just like to quickly point out one of those great ironies of life...
on the one hand, you have females complaining about men being superficial and shallow and caring too much about how a female looks (it's off topic here, but its also scientifically shown that males are turned on more by sight than women)...
on the other hand, you have the engagement. i think it's also beside the point, but i think most women expect a beautiful, memorable engagement. what im really focused on (and so is every woman, whether they tell you or not) is the ring. every time a girl gets engaged, the first question from every other female is "can i see the ring?" or "how big is it?" and of course the one who just got engaged cant help but show it off, take many pictures of the ring, and talk ad nauseam about it.
