i'm not even sure how to tell this story...

so i recently was on a road trip up i-35 (to scratch my degenerate gambler's itch) and the people i was with decided they wanted to stop for food ... it's the middle of the day, and there's a jack in the box, so we stop. in walks this guy who looks like he was an extra from the set of "a time to kill" -- long hair, silly facial hair, nasty skin, just KKK to a T...or a K in this case.

he's wearing a shirt that says "better living through chemistry" as shocking as that may be to you. i know, try to catch your breath. i made some joke about "when's the next lynching" to my friends while this guy was outside, and he walks in talking to a black guy. i honestly was surprised at that point.

so he comes up to us and asks if he can use our cell phone because he's trying to get in touch with someone who is sending him money. i look at my buddies, look back at the guy (hoping one of my buddies will speak up) and i just said "that really just weirds me out, to be honest" and my other buddies say they dont have a cell phone. hilarious. the guy starts talking about how he understands, he's from a [something?] state and we're from a bled and red state. he then goes on for a solid 2 minutes about "the man" and coming down from oregon to help his buddy who got "narc'ed on by some bitches" at his school and on and on. supposedly he walked all night, from around waco, before finally getting a ride to this awesome jack in the box (from the knee grow, i believe)

finally he tells us all he came down here with was a 50-dollar bill, which he proceeded to burn as a statement ... "5-0 burn forever" i believe was the phrase he used. my immediate thought was "i bet you wish you had that money now, huh?" but somehow i was able to refrain from saying that. either way, most of his story sounded like rambling, incoherent psychobabble. i'm guessing he was on meth, but i have no way of knowing. either way, he was an all-star

somehow i just thought you needed to know that
